I recently completed a PhD in the application of remote sensing to recording former water management systems in the Middle East

I am mapping archaeological features in North Africa. My research background is in remote sensing and GIS, primarily when applied to archaeology, including fields such as water management and hydrology, photogrammetry and rainfall mapping.

I recently completed a PhD in the application of remote sensing to recording former water management systems in the Middle East, which I undertook in the Geography and Archaeology Departments of Durham University. I have undertaken fieldwork in the Jerablus and Raqqa areas in Syria.
